My photography has always been influenced by painting as much as by earlier photographic works. I approach the final image as would a painter, wielding various paints, and brushes to create her version of the scene or subject.
I often combine traditional film techniques with digital ones, and communicative and aesthetic considerations drive everything I do when creating an image.
